Ormat is a leading geothermal company that produces electricity from green energy sources. Our office and factory are in Yavne, near a train station.
What will you be doing?
• Discover, collect, analyze, validate, calculate, and aggregate ESG data for reporting.
• Interpret ESG trends, regulatory actions, and key ESG-related topics; develop insights and reports for leadership.
• Engage with regional and functional team members on the implementation of the ESG program.
• Maintain strong relationships with key internal business partners to ensure ongoing support of ESG initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree, a relevant academic degree in ESG-related field is a plus
• 3 years+ of work experience in a consulting company or in a Private sector corporate working sustainability and ESG
• Passion for sustainability
• Strong interpersonal skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills
• Fact-based decision making and problem-resolution skills
• Experience in industrial company and renewable energy is a plus
• Experience with ESG reporting standards, requirements, and common frameworks, e.g. SASB, TCFD, GRI, etc.
• English language verbal and written communication skills.
